About The Nomad-Discover Travel
“Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.” -Mark Twain
I grew up with traveling parents. My mom was a travel bug and introduced me to the world. A gift I didn't realize before I could thank her. Traveling was the best education she could have given me. It opened my eyes to the opportunities the world has on offer. The exploration began. Discovery my life force and adventure my nourishment.
Having banged my head against the wall, trying to fit in for far too many decades, when the internet came round I saw my way out. I learned everything I could and took that talent abroad. I created the life I sought.
Having traveled the world for the bulk of my life, I've come to realize how important it is for all of us to learn about each other. If I could take a bit from each country and make my own, I'd be the luckiest woman alive. Much like if I could take a wee bit from each man I loved, I'd be married with 10 kids.
Countries could learn so much from each other much like the people who inhabit them. Instead centuries of war, division and propaganda has culminated in a need for greed, power and control when there is enough for every man, woman and child.
I don't believe in borders. If there weren't any and people naturally migrated, there wouldn't be the problems that are so prevalent today but borders are job producers and money makers.
I am a citizen of the world. I came from my mother's womb. Where that womb was should make no difference.
